The original theatrical version of Endgame ran about 181 minutes. Theater listings for Encore indicate a runtime of about 185 minutes, suggesting roughly four additional minutes in the presentation. That does not necessarily mean every added minute is a conventional deleted scene; the package also includes the new introduction and material connecting the rerelease with Marvel’s next Avengers film.
The marketing strategy matters as much as the runtime. Rather than asking audiences to revisit an old movie purely for nostalgia, Marvel is attaching information about a future movie that fans cannot yet see elsewhere in the same theatrical context.

Rereleases are an unusually efficient product for movie studios. The expensive part—the film itself—already exists. Audiences know the characters, reviews and cultural importance of the movie, so the studio does not have to introduce an unfamiliar product from scratch. If you already planned to revisit Endgame before Doomsday, the Encore release offers a premium way to do it. Fans particularly interested in the next Avengers movie may also value the exclusive preview and post-credits material.
But if your only motivation is the extra footage, it is worth separating the marketing excitement from the amount of new material. A few additional minutes attached to a movie running more than three hours is a relatively small expansion. The decision becomes less about whether four minutes are objectively worth the ticket price and more about whether the theatrical experience itself is something you want to buy again.
